Obviously, I’m a huge fan of using social media for your career. But I also recognize that not everyone is, and that we all have preferences for how we start using it. It’s like learning to ride a bike: some parents and children start with training wheels; other parents give a brief demo, hold on to the back of the bike for a bit, and then let their kids go. My parents fell into the latter group and let me fall a few times. I had a few scrapes, but then I was off and riding around the block. (more…)
